This tour is designed to provide a comprehensive and memorable Trans-Siberian motorcycle experience, allowing you to explore the diverse beauty and culture of Russia...
Hi folks!
It's been a while since we last connected with you. Every year, we make a resolution not to miss out on sending newsletters during our riding season. However, every year, we find ourselves unable to follow through on this promise.

When there are several tours taking places same time, in various locations, and even different countries, there is so much to do with organization: accommodations, logistics, bike maintenance, customer service, flights, excursions, and more. Consequently, finding the time to focus on newsletters can be a challenge.

From a marketing perspective, this isn't ideal. We should aim to create daily social media posts, send out newsletters, craft engaging stories, and consistently engage in these promotional activities. But as a small family/friends-run business, we believe in the significance of marketing, but we prioritize providing exceptional service to our current tour participants who are on the road. Our primary focus is dedicating 110% of our efforts to ensure the success of the tours that have already been sold and are currently running.

With winter approaching, we temporarily park our bikes, and our guides take well-deserved vacations. This is the perfect opportunity for us to finally concentrate on writing newsletters. In the upcoming months, we commit to sending them out on a monthly basis, and we hope to continue doing so until April-May when the new riding season kicks into high gear.
Briefly about this year: Good riding season!
We successfully organized over 75 tours this year, with the majority taking place in Russia. However, we also expanded into neighboring countries like Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and more. There were many new tours and destinations, among them it's worth mentioning Pamir Highway – Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan motorcycle tour.

Pamir is undeniably an exciting yet challenging tour, somewhat akin to the legendary Road of Bones in Magadan, Russia. We're extremely proud to have successfully organazed three Pamir tours this year, thanks to the adventurous riders from Russia, Germany, Slovenia, Canada, Australia, and many more. We believe our next newsletter will be dedicated exclusively to the remarkable Pamir journey.
We have same team of 18 people working in RMT. Same fleet of bikes, almost 40 BMW GS. Same tours with focus on Russia, but there are some international tours as well.

Currently, our entire team is very tired after long riding season, but vacations in November-December are coming and that will help us recharge our batteries for the challenges of the next year.
2023 RIDE REPORTS
Moscow – Vladivostok tours in 2024
Now, let's get to the heart of this newsletter. Over the past two years, we have been unable to do Trans-Siberian tours due to the international situation. We consistently had interested customers who wished to go on the Moscow - Vladivostok journey, but the majority opted to postpone their rides. There were also individuals who were ready to come to Russia and undertake the Trans-Siberian Highway adventure regardless of the circumstances, but their numbers were limited. For example, 2-3 riders in June, 1-2 riders in July, another 2-3 riders for August.

Together with the participants, we made the decision to postpone the Trans-Siberian Tour for both of those years. While some of them chose to travel from Moscow to Vladivostok on their own, we did not organize guided tours along the Trans-Siberian Route during that time.

In 2024, we are excited to announce that we will be resuming our main and flagship tour, the Trans-Siberian Route. We receive numerous requests for this journey almost every week, and we are highly confident, with a 99% assurance, that these tours will indeed take place.

Some of you have already booked and even made payments for this upcoming ride, while others are still contemplating and making decisions. If you're considering it, we encourage you to take the next step and secure your spot without delay.

For the year 2024, the tour dates are as follows:

  • 1-25 June: Moscow to Vladivostok
  • 1-25 July: Vladivostok to Moscow
  • 1-25 August: Moscow to Vladivostok

Once we've successfully filled the first three groups, we also plan to introduce two additional tour dates:

  • 1-25 July: Moscow to Vladivostok
  • 1-25 August: Vladivostok to Moscow
However, our initial focus is on forming and filling the first three groups as mentioned earlier.

What is happening in Russia? Is it safe and comfortable to travel to Russia?
Following the commencement of the conflict with Ukraine in 2022, sanctions were levied against Russia. However, in general, these sanctions did not have the intended impact, and the situation in Russia has remained largely unchanged, if not improved. The economy is in a recovery phase, local businesses have filled the void left by departing companies, new enterprises have entered the market, GDP is on an upward trajectory, and investments in the economy are steadily increasing.

Without delving deeply into economic matters, it's worth noting that there is no shortage of goods or services. Everyday items like Coca-Cola and French wine are readily available in supermarkets, and BMW motorcycles and their spare parts can still be found at BMW dealerships, just as they were before.

While there might not be direct flights from most European countries and the USA to Russia, there are numerous flight options available from countries such as Turkey (via Turkish Airlines), the United Arab Emirates (via Emirates), Qatar (via Qatar Airways), and various other countries around the world. These alternative routes offer convenient access to Russia.
Due to the sanctions, Visa and MasterCard bank cards not functioning in Russia, which can indeed be inconvenient. However, there's some positive news to balance this situation. In our Moscow-Vladivostok tours, and as is customary for most of our tours, all expenses for accomodation, meals, fuel, transfers, and other essentials are included in the tour price. As a result, you won't need to carry a substantial amount of cash. 500-1000 EUR/USD should be sufficient for a 25-day tour to cover expenses like coffee, beer, and other minor expenditures. Additionally, if you find yourself running low on funds, you can always withdraw more money locally as needed.

Payment for the tour can be made through various methods. You can facilitate bank wire or SWIFT transfers to our Raiffeisen bank account in Moscow. Additionally, we have an account in Turkey for your convenience. Further details regarding payment options will be provided via email after you've booked the tour.

Russia has maintained its open borders for tourists, and starting from August 2023, e-visas have become accessible to visitors from 52 countries, which includes all of Europe, Scandinavia, and certain Asian nations, etc. For most other countries, expect some countries, Russia has already been visa-free, making it more accessible for travelers in terms of obtaining a visa.
In summary, due to the unstable global situation, we had a limited number of international customers last year. We see a shift in this trend as an increasing number of people are visiting Russia, requesting information about our tours, ordering tour catalogues, making tour reservations, and expressing their intention to visit Russia next year.

In 2024, we are set to relaunch our Moscow - Vladivostok tours. Initially, we aim to form three groups: June 1-25 from Moscow to Vladivostok, July 1-25 from Vladivostok to Moscow, and August 1-25 from Moscow to Vladivostok. Once these groups are filled, we plan to introduce two additional dates in July and August.

Besides the Trans-Siberian tours, we are also reviving our Moscow – Saint-Petersburg (10-day) and Moscow – Saint-Petersburg – Golden Ring (14-day) tours. These tours are scheduled for June to August, and we will send more details about them in our upcoming newsletters.
The price of 9950 Euros for the 10,000 km, 25-day Moscow – Vladivostok tour includes almost everything, such as:

  • Motorcycle rental (BMW F750GS, F850GS, with an additional 750 Euros for R1250GS).
  • Fuel for the entire tour.
  • Single-room accommodations.
  • Meals during the tour.
  • Transfers.
  • Guided excursions.
  • Motorcycle guide.
  • Support vehicle with a guide (car for luggage, spare bike, water, snacks, etc.).
  • Welcome pack.

The only expenses not covered are a small amount for coffee/beer and any air tickets to Russia, as well as visa counseling fees, which typically range from 50 to 100 Euros, depending on your country of residence.
