With the season running to an end, it's time to sum up the results of the year. Riding season in Russia is not closed yet, but with almost 70 tours done and just 5-7 left, we think it's almost done.

How was it? Well, not easy.

All the mess we have today in the world with different covid rules, vaccines, covid passports and travel restrictions - all this adds work to us. You never know what will be next month and if a scheduled tour will take place. Any moment some country can add another country to its Red List or temporary suspend travelling, and full tour group will ask to reschedule/change dates to next year. We had several such cases this year, ohhh, that was tough.

There is good ancient wisdom - "Homo proponit, sed Deus disponit". All we can do nowadays in this constantly changing world is run our tours, despite all the obstacles. So, we did, we think it turned out well.

Pretty calm. We have 85 regions in Russia, some placed restrictions for non-vaccinated to visit shopping malls, cinemas, theatres, restaurants, etc. but if you are vaccinated there are no problems at all. Even if you are not vaccinated you can travel, visit open verandas in restaurants.

So far Russia has opened its borders and resumed air connection with 55 countries, including half of Europe, UK, USA, many Asia countries. Despite third wave in USA and many other countries there are no talks to close air connection or tourism, it seems everyone understands that with 30-70% of population vaccinated in different countries there is no sense on further lockdowns.

To enter Russia, you need negative PCR test, there is no quarantine upon arrival, vaccine passport is not required, only PCR test made 72 hours before coming. Land borders are closed, you can come to Russia only by air now. Authorities say land borders will reopen by year end.

Our plans for the coming months are very simple – we want to have some rest after busy season, sell plenty of "old" bikes, that served us well in the past year, but it's time to renew them, post more ride reports from this year rides. Update web site, make new catalogue/brochure of tours.

Also, we are going to start preparations for the season 2022 really soon. Just half year left before new season start…))
