It has been for a while since we talked last time. There were not many posts and activities on the internet from our side during last month, and the reason for that is quite simple – we were busy doing preparations for the spring and summer tours.

With international travelling still complicated a lot of local Russian riders booked different motorcycle tours with us: Crimea and Elbrus, Enduro Training in Sochi and Weekend Tours around Moscow, Altay and Karelia, Abkhazia and Georgia, and many others. We are delighted to say that local/domestic travel is rapidly growing in Russia and we do not sit without a job waiting for better time but run our operations.

Same time we are sad we cannot meet with many of you. Riders from Canada and USA, Finland and Germany, UK and Austria, Mexico and Brazil, and many other countries booked different tours for April and May with us, and it seems we cannot meet for now. We moved these bookings/reservations into summer or autumn, hopefully by that time situation will improve. We talked with all our customers in private e-mail on this issue.

Life in Russia is almost back to what was a year ago, before corona. Vaccination is going and widely available, number of new cases is low and falling, there are many beds in the hospitals, temporary hospitals were closed in winter, restrictions that were placed last year are cancelled. Sport gyms and shopping malls, schools and universities, hotels and restaurants, theatres and museums, exhibitions and music halls, ski resorts and cinemas are open, we can meet for a glass of beer with friends, watch football in the pub or travel throughout the country with our bikes.

Russia opened its borders with approx. 30 countries, but still international travelling is limited and complicated. Russian Embassies and visa centers in most countries are closed. We heart from Russian authorities that by summer situation will improve and we will be able to visit USA, Europe, Canada and other countries, and people from other countries will be able to enter Russia, news will follow in the coming months.

We expect travelling with USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Sweden and other countries doing vaccination will be resumed soon. We don't know when, but authorities from Russian Ministry of Tourism say from late spring or early summer travelling to Europe and USA will be available again.

Recently we had to update our calendar of tours, moving spring Sochi - Elbrus, Sochi - Crimea, Sochi - Elbrus - Moscow and some other bookings from April and May into fall summer or autumn. We talked with those of you who signed for that tours and most agreed to new dates. Thank you for trust and support. We all understand that situation will improve soon, we just don't know for sure how soon that will happen.

We hope that the summer calendar will remain unchanged, with Trans-Siberian Tours, Moscow - Saint-Petersburg, Altay, and others taking places as scheduled. Although we realize that situation is still unclear and depends on how vaccination will go on in Europe, Latin and North America, Australia, etc. and how soon countries will agree on global measures to restarts tourism. We follow the situation and will update you if any changes. And fingers crossed new travel rules, covid passports or vaccine certificates will ease travelling soon.

Obviously, with 410 million people around the world vaccinated, on average 9,5 mln shots are given per day worldwide, it's strange to keep those who got jabs at home, restricting movement and travelling. After you have got your shots and antibodies were created in your body why not let you live usual life, like before corona? You are protected. Well, it a philosophical question, with no simple answer, about the same series, why vaccination in Europe is so slow?

Anyway, we are in contact with all our customers who booked tours with us, we follow the situation in the world, track all countries on a daily basis. We see in some places there is third wave, new lockdowns, in other countries restrictions are eased and life gets back to normal.
