Hello friends,

Its the middle of February and the time for our monthly newsletter. To be honest we are a bit tired of corona agenda, but we all depend on it now, so like it or not, we must cover this topic.

In brief situation in Russia is good, vaccine is available, and number of cases go down every day. Most restriction were eased, few remaining will be cancelled in the coming weeks/months. Moscow mayor said few days ago from March all will be like before corona.

Tourism/hospitality business is working, hotels, cafes, restaurants, museums etc. are open. Russia has already opened its borders with 30 countries, and we expect in the coming months more international travelling will be available.

USA, UK and plenty of other countries quickly vaccinate their population and we see how numbers fall there and life returns back to normal. There are talks about new variants of corona, but Pfizer said its vaccine is effective against it, same for Sputnik V, so we don't think it's a real threat once you have vaccine. We think travelers from UK, USA and other vaccinated countries will be able to visit Russia from March-April.

It's sad to see that unfortunately in many countries vaccination roll out is not so fast/smooth as in USA, for example (they give 1,5 mln. shots per day, fantastic) and that is sad, because that brings concerns if Europeans will be able to travel this summer.

We stay confident, that everything will be ok and travelling will resume. Europe had slow start but will catch up others in March-April. Moderna built new factory, Pfizer upgraded its factory, other vaccines can be approved soon.

There is a risk vaccination in Europe, Australia, Canada, and Latin America will take longer than expected, but let's wait for a while and see. We have plenty of time before the season.

1. Elbrus is 5642 meters high; it is the highest peak in Europe and is also one of the seven wonders of Russia

2. Many myths and ancient legends say the entrance to Shambhala, the land of happiness, is located somewhere here, but we did not find it yet)))

3. Elbrus mountain is covered with glaciers that never melt, so it's under snow all year round

4. All main roads around are paved, but there are many gravel mountains paths for those who want more off-road riding

5. Good riding weather is from end of April till beginning of October
