Enjoy 14-days Classic Motorcycle Tours in Summer....
In our previous newsletters we have told you about our TOP-3 TOURS, a journey to the ALTAY MOUNTAINS and our SPRING TOURS in the Sochi area. Good options, aren't they? Now we want you to take a closer look at two our Classic Tours, starting in Moscow, we run only during the summer: one to the South from Moscow, another one to the North.

Our southern tour is Moscow - Volgograd/Stalingrad - Elbrus, a 14-day ride that has main focus on history and nature - it's all about memorable places, mountains and rivers, small towns and villages, stories of different people.

Our northern tour, Moscow - Saint-Petersburg - Karelia - Golden Ring, we call it Best of Russia, is a 14-day ride with more focus on culture and traditions. We visit old towns of the Golden Ring, marvelous Saint-Petersburg, fascinating and chilling Karelia Republic with huge lakes and many old monasteries.

Let's have a closer look at both tours.
Let us take some historical and cultural heritage, add distinguished military heroism, a bit of multinational diversity and mix all of it with fantastic views of mountain ranges. This is exactly what you get while riding our Moscow - Volgograd - Elbrus Tour. It's a 14 day and 3300 km. long adventure that usually takes place in June and September.
We start in Moscow with a city tour around the capital's center and move South passing vast agricultural regions, rivers and forests, fields and steppes. In a few riding days we approach Volgograd, the place where the biggest battle in the world history took place - the Stalingrad Battle.

From there we go to the republic of Kalmykia where locals follow Buddhism as the main faith. Serpentine roads bring us to the Caucasus Mountains with the highest peak in Europe - Elbrus. Stunning views of the most famous Russian Mountain Range (we visit several peaks, not just Elbrus) will add some extra memories of this spectacular tour.
We return to Moscow passing different regions, with steppes and forests, fields and lakes, large cities and small cozy towns. You will learn more about plenty of small nationalities living in Russia, try regional food, stay in the noble estate, visit 14th century museum and enjoy many other interesting sights.

The capital and heart of Russia. The modern metropolis with a huge number of historical monuments of many eras. The city is more than 870 years old and believe us, there is something to see here.
As for the next tour - we call it "the Best of Russia". Why? Because it allows you to get the most from Russia in only two weeks. You will visit many cultural sites, historical cities and beautiful landscapes of Russian North (not the very North, don't worry).

This is a perfect choice for those who is used to a relaxing and comfortable driving: daily distances are small (comparing to Volgograd and Trans-Siberian Tour) and the cultural program is rich. In this tour there are more museum and palaces, churches and cathedrals.

2. Karelia, the Land of Lakes
This sparsely populated area attracts everyone with the beauty of its vast forests, lakes and rocks. Due to the small population, it is preserved in its original form – it is not a popular resort, it is the North itself. Karelia is well suited to stay on the rocky shore of the lake, and relax in silence, getting in touch with nature. In addition, Karelia is just perfect for the ride: many of our guests call the road from Sortavala to Petrozavodsk as the best in their lives.
3. Kizhi National Wooden Architecture Museum
This historical site (Kizhi pogost) was founded in the XVII century on Kizhi island. The island is located on Lake Onega in the Republic of Karelia .The pogost is the area inside a fence which includes two large wooden churches (the 22-dome Transfiguration Church and the 9-dome Intercession Church) with a bell-tower. The pogost is famous for its beauty and longevity, despite that it is built exclusively of wood. In 1990, it was included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage sites.

In 1967, the Russian art historian Yuri Bychkov created a list of ancient cities and town of Russia, which preserved the biggest cultural and historical values. A popular tourist route "Golden Ring" was created on the basis of his work. We will visit some of the cities of this famous route to get into the spirit of ancient Russia, at a time when it was not yet an Empire, but already a Tsardom.
